On Thursday evenings (legs bikes mostly!)
On Tuesday evenings (e bikes only)
Drop into the shop to find out times and places. Its a bit fast and technical. Not fire roads if we can avoid them. A very good light is needed after dark.
If you are in the area summer or winter there will be an evening ride, you are most welcome to join us for this, it’s not too technical, but it is a reasonable pace so fitness is important!
Woodbury Common and the Pebblebed heaths offer some of the Country’s finest low level mountain biking. If you live in Exmouth it literally is right on the doorstep. You can warm up with a short cycle on the cyclepath before heading off-road.
We ride from around 6.30 to 9pm. Woodbury Common is rough, hilly and challenging. You will need a decent bike, helmet, spare tube and clothes to suit the weather conditions!
NIGHT RIDES – the fun doesn’t stop just because the evenings get dark either. The added adventure of night riding is to be had. Modern LED lights are cheap and very bright now so riding after dark is very accessible. If you already do it and want to come along to find new trails or meet some new people then get in touch. If you are tempted to try for the first time we might be able to find a light for you to borrow for the evening. Just give us a bit of warning to get it organised!
Other places to ride in the area:
Dartmoor – Exmoor – Quantocks
All 3 locations around an hour or so. All offer amazing mountain biking. There is also an ever expanding network of trail centres in the southwest of England. SW trail centres – @moredirt.com.
Is this really East Devon !!
