2017 Giant dual suspension

A short video about Giant’s Maestro suspension system

Giant Anthem

This XC legend returns with big updates for 2017. Featuring an updated platform with 110mm of rear suspension travel and 120mm up front, plus the superior all-around performance of 27.5-inch wheels, the new Anthem Advanced delivers lighter weight, better efficiency and improved control. The rear suspension features an all-new Trunnion Mount shock and Advanced Forged composite rocker arm for added strength and stiffness. All-new, wider Boost hub spacing (110 front/148 rear) results in stiffer wheels for added control plus an improved chainline for optimal drivetrain performance. For riders seeking the lightest, fastest and most efficient Maestro-equipped Giant, this is the ultimate XC speed machine.

Giant Trance

The all-new Trance Advanced is engineered for speed on technical trails. The lightweight chassis is made with an Advanced-grade composite mainframe that features an updated Maestro Suspension system. A newly designed Trunnion shock mount and an Advanced Forged composite upper rocker arm make the whole system lighter and stronger. You get 140mm of rear suspension travel and 150mm up front, all purpose-built for 27.5 wheels. New this year is wider Boost hub spacing (110 front/148 rear), which results in stiffer wheels for added control on rough trails. Boost also increases tyre clearance and improves the chainline for optimal drivetrain performance. Whether you’re pinning on a number for a weekend enduro race, or ripping laps in your favourite trail network, the new Trance Advanced gives you cutting edge performance to let you climb faster and descend with more control.

Giant Reign

Built for and tested by Giant Factory Off-Road Team pros including enduro slayer Yoann Barelli, this all-mountain machine mates a lightweight, stiff and sharp-handling Advanced-grade composite mainframe with 160mm of smooth Maestro Suspension. The frame was engineered specifically for its 27.5 wheels, giving you confidence, control and speed on the roughest trails. It’s strong enough to handle aggressive terrain and efficient enough to float up steep climbs. Stable geometry, a tapered OverDrive steerer tube design and air or coil compatible shock mounts make Reign Advanced the king of enduro.

Giant Glory

This killer composite machine has been developed and perfected over the years in an uncompromising quest to give Giant pros the fastest DH bike in the world. The latest version of the Glory Advanced breaks new ground in stiffness, weight and all-around performance. It features 200mm of fully active Maestro rear suspension on a superlight, stiff and strong composite mainframe. The frame geometry, engineered to optimise its 27.5 wheels, has helped deliver pros like Marcelo Gutierrez to World Cup podiums on the world’s toughest courses. It’s the lightest composite DH frame ever produced by Giant and it’s hungry to win.

Giant Full-E+

Save some energy on the climbs and enjoy big mountain descents with this all-new fullsuspension E-bike. The frame is engineered with lightweight and strong ALUXX SL aluminium that features 140mm of smooth Maestro rear suspension and a SyncDrive motor that’s powered by Yamaha. With 80 Nm or torque, you’ll float up tough climbs and with a long-lasting 500Wh EnergyPak, you can push yourself to new limits. Proven off-road geometry, 27.5 wheels and allnew Boost rear hub spacing make it a confident and capable adventure companion.

MARIN – The Soul of Marin

Halfway across the Golden Gate Bridge, hundreds of feet above San Francisco Bay, is the southern boundary of a very different place. As you cross that line, you enter a different world, full of open space, quiet roads, and trails with amazing vistas—and far from the rush of city life. As the terrain changes, so too do the people. Life becomes less frenetic, more laid back, and more engaged with time and place. This is Marin County, the birthplace and home of Marin Bikes California.
